In spite of all of this negativity lately towards this fine, fine woman, I felt it was necessary to take some of the pressure off of her and award her with this life time achievement award. How many of you feel that at one time or another you felt it was necessary to give another person this award? I don’t care if your disabled, black, white, small, big or simply perfect. I want to hear your stories of ignorance and for the best story I will commend you for your honesty and award your lucky story with the “Charlotte Jones Ignorance Award.”

One of many personal story of mine is, I was at a roller coaster park at Busch Gardens, FL, and I was getting on a ride, and mind you I have no trouble getting in and out of my wheelchair, and as were fastened in and the harness are on, they go “Whoaaa” and they argue with me that I am not able to ride the ride. And the worst part was, they didn’t say, ok, step off of the ride and lets discus this, while everyone is waiting in line, and people are sitting in there seats, and mind you these lines are huge and a lot of people are watching, they sat there and not only embarrassed me, but turned what could have been an easy situation into a nightmare.
